Charm Casting Epilogue: After a Reading

Once your interpretation is as complete as it's going to be for now, you can reverse any steps you took to ritually prepare and protect yourself.

Make sure all of your charms get put back in the right place.

If this was a reading for someone else, you might have been puzzled by some messages that the querent understands. This is normal, at least for me. Understanding the message yourself isn't always necessary; if the querent understands, that's enough.

You, or the querent, might want to carry a charm from the reading on you/them for a while. This can be a reminder of what to do and a way of encouraging predicted outcomes to happen.

Another way to encourage the outcome is to draw a significant charm's shape on something edible, like a cookie, and ritually consume it.

You or the querent should take mundane actions to encourage any outcomes you/they want. You/they might want to take other magical actions too, like a specific spell to attract love/money/whatever the reading says is coming to you.

Remember that divination is about the probable outcome at the time the reading happens, and later actions - yours and others' - may change what happens.
