This is one I wanted to do for months and finally decided to paint this month because I celebrated Artio Rising at the beginning of it. (This is a holiday described briefly in the Pagan Portals book on Artio and Artaois; there's also a holiday in the fall for Artio Retiring but instead of that, I just watch Fat Bear Week!)
I don't have much to say about this one except that I enjoyed painting her and mixing colors when I didn't have exactly what I needed.
I finished this painting last weekend. I chose to make her grey because of my cat Paw Revere, and because Egyptian Maus are frequently grey. I promise the rest of the charm casting posts are coming, but maybe not very soon - I have some stuff coming up.
